December 30 may just be an ordinary day for most of you, but it is an extraordinary day in the Sauer family.
On December the 30th, 1945, John Sauer was born to Jerome and Irma Sauer in St. Cloud, MN. On December 30th,
1946, Janice Sauer was born to these same parents, exactly one year later to the date. On December 30th,
1947, James Sauer was born to Jerome and Irma, giving them three children born on the same day, each a year apart.
The odds of this occuring is one trillion to one! In celebration of this momentous occasion, the Sauer family
holds an annual Birthday party at one of the houses of these children. There is an annual fooseball tournament
featuring up to 32 different players, and the winner takes home the toilet bowl trophey for that year. Below are
a wide range of pictures from the 2001 Birthday party celebration.
