Hit in the Head with a Heinie

So i went to a conference last weekend in virginia. It was soooooooooooooo great. Great lectures, great food and open bar every night. Very smart people were there, I met a nobel prize winner, made some new friends, and of course met a cute boy. The first day, there was a welcome dinner to start off the conference. Being the party girl that I am, I ended up going out afterwards with some people who didn’t want to go to bed at 10pm. The bar we went to had all sorts of things hanging from the ceiling and walls.

Now, any of you that have ever been ANYWHERE with me know how much I like to “get
things” (the most recent incedent was Mike and the pineapple I think). So, I ended up with a giant blow-up Heinekin can (the details of the transaction shall remain undisclosed). On the way home, cute boy was walking with me and joking around. He hits my new souvenier and it pops back up and hits me right between the eyes. Blood starts spurting and running down my face!

Turns out there was a little hard piece on the exact part that hit me. I start crying since I am drunk (and it hurts). Then when i see the blood I REALLY freak out. Now, I am pretty fine with blood, but not when it is running down my face. Needless to say, he felt really bad (I later forgave him). I had to spend the rest of the conference with a GIANT cut right between my eyes and had to tell people that I got hit in the head with a heinie.
