Hey all – I wrote a guest post on a blog that is written by three of my college friends called TK on Toast.  They are sports nuts and their site is pretty awesome.  It is written from the point of view of a sports fan (with a slight Minnesota bias), and I think they are doing a great job.

Anyway, they have a feature on their blog where they let their friends do guest posts and sound off on whatever topic they like to talk about.   I decided to do an NFL playoffs preview comparing playoff teams to ingredients in a Chipotle burrito.  It turned out to be a pretty solid post, and I encourage you to read it if you have any interest in the NFL or Chipotle.

Today’s post was about the NFC playoffs.  Tomorrow I cover the AFC.  Enjoy!

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the people who tipped me off to a new Chipotle store opening in Roseville, Minnesota. It appears as if my previous efforts may have influenced the opening of a Chipotle store right in my back yard. Today, October 26, 2007 marks the culmination of my being. To this point, I merely floated through life. Now that my purpose of bringing Potle to Roseville has been fulfilled, I feel that I can now say I have lead a meaningful life.

As for the opening ceremonies, I was hoping that I could be there at 11 AM for the store opening, but I also want to be there at 3 PM for the free shirt giveaway. Right now I’m leaning toward eating there twice.

Thanks to everyone who tipped me off to the store opening in Roseville. I actually learned about the store the first time when my friend Skaff called me about it way back in July. Since then, I have received random calls, emails and MySpace messages from people once or twice a week! There’s too many of you to mention on here, but thank you Kristi S, Erik K, Rachel S and Greg at Chipotlog.

Somehow my article was actually found by several visitors during the past year. I got support from so many random people that I am humbled by the response. To give you the idea of the power of the Internet, here is a timeline of how fast things have worked since I sent my letter to Chipotle.

December 19, 2006 – Wrote my opus called “Chipotle Roseville” and launched the site, http://www.chipotleroseville.com

December 19, 2006 – Sent an email to Chipotle that said:

Hello,

I created a website devoted to trying to bring Chipotle to my community in Minnesota. The area is called Roseville. On the website, I make a strong case for why we need a Chipotle in Roseville. Please read and get back to me if you’d like more information.

http://www.chipotleroseville.com

Jeff Sauer

January 3, 2007 – Received a reply from Joe, the Internet manager for Chipotle. He also CC’d 4 Chipotle employees in his response.

Jeff,

Thank you very much for writing us, and we’ll check out Roseville for the future. Pretty good work on all that stuff, and I’ll forward it along to our real estate folks in your area for sure. I know people have requested Roseville before, and we hope to see you there someday, dear, dear friend.

Sincerely,

Joe
Manager, Duct Tape and Plungers
Chipotle

January of 2007 – Somehow the site chipotleroseville.com gets 47 unique visitors! Must have been my MySpace friends.

February 1, 2007 – A web site called “E-Democracy” comes across my web site and links to my Chipotle story. The person who made the site offered me a backhanded compliment, by saying:

A local blogger has done extensive research to determine that Roseville may be the worst location in the Twin Cities Metro region for someone hungry for a Chipotle burrito. This is worth checking out, if only to be amazed at the amount of research one individual has done in regard to what many of us would consider a pretty trivial matter (see multiple maps/diagrams).

Who is this guy calling Trivial? Chipotle is NOT TRIVIAL! Chipotle is my god given right! Anyway, for full context, you can read the full article here.

February 5, 2007 – I get mentioned in another blog called “the deets”. He even gives a word count to my article (2000+ words apparently). Check out the full article here.

April of 2007 – The site got 311 unique visitors for the month… I don’t even know 300 people!!

August of 2007 – My Search Engine Optimization skills must be paying off, because I am getting search traffic for the terms “Chipotle locations”, “Chipotle Restaurants” and “Chipotle Franchise Information”. If I actually had wanted to monetize this site, I probably could have made at least $2000 by now! I’m an idiot!

October 22, 2007 – More love from the blogosphere. This time, Greg at Chipotlog mentions me in an article.

October 26, 2007 – Chipotle opens in Roseville. The rest of my life begins.

There are probably more people who linked to the site, but my web stats package sort of sucks and didn’t provide that information.

The last thing I’m going to share with you are the stats for chipotleroseville.com. Somehow the site gets between 200-300 visitors every month. Pretty funny given that I wrote the article/web site with little to no expectations. I also get a ton of visitors from the search engines!

I also got a crapload of traffic from the search engines:

Dear Chipotle,

It has been almost two years since I have last written you. During that time, a lot has changed in my life. I have matured, had minor success in my career, and I have upped my Chipotle intake to 3-4 times a week.

One thing that has not changed in my life is an ongoing travesty that has been overlooked for far too long. I am talking about an injustice for the ages; a lone tarnished mark on an otherwise flawless canopy of a “burrito heaven of a metro area”. I am speaking of the disappointing lack of a Chipotle in the Roseville, Minnesota area. Zip Code 55113.

Here is a map of the Chipotle restaurants in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul) metro area.

For those unfamiliar with the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, this map basically details the layout of the metro area of Minneapolis and St. Paul, and its surrounding suburbs. The black dots with numbers in them represent locations of my favorite restaurant, Chipotle. (CMG for you wannabe stockbrokers).

If you count the black dots on the map, you should be able to conclude that there are 34 Chipotle locations in the greater Twin Cities metro area (looks like #34 is actually in Wisconsin, but who’s counting… other than ME).

Perhaps to your untrained eye, you also may deduce that the Twin Cities metro area is well saturated with Chipotle locations. I tend to disagree. In fact, I would like to draw your attention to a blatant hole in the Twin Cities Chipotle landscape. Please refer to the next photograph for a more detailed explanation.

If you pay close attention to the above map, you will notice that I “connected the dots” for Chipotle locations surrounding the Roseville, Minnesota area. As you’ll notice, my “dot connecting” has encircled my location in Roseville, Minnesota on the map. I did not engage in any trickery in creating my circle; I merely drew a line from one dot to another.

Comparing my circle pattern to the rest of the map, you’ll probably notice that there is a certain void of Chipotle restaurants in comparison to any other circle on the map. In fact, I contend that the circle I have drawn effectively represents the only possible “hole” in the entire Twin Cities Chipotle canvas (excluding more rural areas of the Twin Cities, which rightfully feel isolated from the tasty goodness of Chipotle, yet lack the population density to sustain a strong argument in their favor).

When I look at where I presently reside in comparison to the “Chipotle Hole” above, I become even more disenfranchised from the “franchise” that is those who make decisions pertaining to Chipotle locations. Below is a map of my living location in comparison to local Chipotle restaurants.

If I can kindly draw your attention to the figure above, you will notice that I have supplemented the previous Chipotle area map with a gigantic blue arrow. This arrow is pointing to the location of my home; the blue dot.

As you will hopefully notice, I unfortunately reside in a section of the Twin Cities area that is not particularly close to a Chipotle restaurant. In fact, the average drive time that I must incur to any surrounding Chipotle restaurants is 13 minutes (click any of the address below for a Google Maps driving directions verifying my personal Chipotle plight):

2701 39th Ave. N.E. Suite 128

Demographics for a Chipotle location

I am hoping the evidence above, combined with my rudimentary Photoshop drawing, have established a precedent that there is a geographic void of Chipotle restaurants in the areas in and around Roseville, Minnesota. However, you may be asking yourself, “why should I care about whether Roseville has a Chipotle?”

Excellent question. Here is why:

According to an online information site, the population of Roseville, Minnesota is 33,690 (the Roseville population sign on the highway also says 33,690, so the site is instantly credible in my book)

According to the same site, the median income of residents of Roseville, Minnesota is $61,164 (aka, we can afford burritos).

In addition to Roseville, other communities are not being properly served by Chipotle, including (with links to their demographics):

Shoreview (population of 25,924, income of $83,528)

Arden Hills (population of 9,562, income of $77,623)

Little Canada (population of 9,771, income of $55,856)

Falcon Heights (population of 5,572, income of $61,578)

Lauderdale (population of 2,364, income of $46,084)

Mounds View (population of 12,378, income of $62,285)

New Brighton (population of 22,206, income of $63,334)

According to the above statistics, Chipotle does not adequately satisfy the hunger needs of over 120,000 people!!!

There is an abundance of businesses residing in the Roseville area. There is an insatiable lunch crowd that would frequent Chipotle in a heartbeat.

There are 7 major colleges within 10 miles of Roseville. They are: Northwestern College, Bethel University, Hamline University, Macalester College, Concordia University, the University of St. Thomas, the College of St. Catherine. It’s no secret, COLLEGE KIDS LOVE CHIPOTLE!

Arguably the most popular mall in the Twin Cities is in Roseville. Rosedale Center is a popular desination for EVERYONE in the North, East, and even West metro. On the Rosedale Center website, you can view a PDF file with “facts” about the area surrounding Rosedale Mall. Here is an excerpt of these important facts:

Rosedale Mall serves a population of 778,321 people. 778,321 people go to Rosedale Mall as a primary source of shopping; yet there is no Chipotle to satisfy their appetites.

The Average household income of patrons for Rosedale Mall is $76,441. Obviously, Rosedale patrons can afford a carnitas burrito with extra salsa, Guacamole, Chips and Salsa, and a large Pop (aka Soda) for each family member, and not blink an eye.

The mall itself is over a MILLION square feet! In addition to the mall, there’s miles and miles of retail locations that thrive year round.

Roseville is a mecca for awesomeness (I don’t have anything to support this other than my own personal opinion).

As you can tell, my excessive research should prove more than ample in your reasoning for building a Chipotle location in the Roseville, Minnesota area.

A personal touch

I have lived in Roseville since April 2004. This is the longest I have lived in a single place since I left home for the first time. I feel comfortable in Roseville, and I sing the praises of the wonderful city every day. I take pride in venturing throughout the massive area, and I know every part of the city in the way that only a local would know. Above I sang the praises of the mall and the surrounding businesses, but I’m not sure that I gave supporting evidence to show why I think that the businesses in this area would thrive if given a “chipotletunity” (my own personal made up word). Here is my personal story of what Chipotle means to my community.

I have had cable television since I was a child. When I was in 7th grade, my father took me to our local cable company to pick up some cable equipment. The company was located in Roseville (934 Woodhill), and at the time our cable company was called North Central cable. Two years later, North Central was bought out by Meredith Cable, yet they maintained the same location. Three Years after that, they were bought out by AT&T Broadband, who decided to keep their location at 934 Woodhill. Two more years went by, and AT&T was bought by Comcast Cable. To this day, they still maintain the same location. My story revolves around a conversation I had at the Comcast branch office located at 934 Woodhill.

The events of the story occurred in 2004, while I was in the process of moving into my Roseville home. I was getting hooked up for Cable television and Internet. Rather than pay for installation of my cable services, I decided to go directly to their offices to obtain new equipment. While I was at the office, I overheard a conversation amongst Comcast employees that lead me to believe that having a Chipotle location in Rosevile, Minnesota would not only improve my present ‘potle situation, but would also improve the lives of those in my community. The conversation went as follows:

Person A: “What are you doing for lunch”

Person B: “I’m hungry, and I’ve really been craving Chipotle lately”

Person A: “Me too! I have been thinking about Chipotle all week!”

Person B: “The only problem is that there isn’t really a Chipotle near here… and we can’t take that much time off of work to go to the nearest location!”

Jeff Sauer: “Excuse me, but I overheard you talking about Chipotle… wouldn’t it be awesome if they had a location here in Roseville!”

Person A, Person B, and Persons C & D: “Yeah, I’d go there all the time!!”

Jeff Sauer: “I wonder what it takes to start a Chipotle franchise, we really need one here!”

Person B: “I don’t know what it takes, but I bet if you started one, you’d be a millionaire!”

This was a conversation from over two years ago, and yet there still is no Chipotle in Roseville. There was a need for a Chipotle in Roseville then, and there is certainly a need now. While I’m not sure that I have the cognitive capacity necessary to learn how to get Chipotle Chipotle corporation (CMG for you future stockbrokers) to start a new restaurant location, I am sure that I have the passion necessary to be an advocate for Chipotle in my community.

Potential Locations

What can I do to bring Chipotle to my community?

Hoping to make my above question rhetorical, I actually did some research about potential locations for Chipotle in the Roseville area. Here is what I found:

<strike>Location #1: The building right beside Caribou Coffee (2111 Snelling Avenue – Roseville, MN 55113)</strike> (Update: This location is now occupied).

This location is presently vacant, and I don’t see any new construction within. From what I’ve gathered in going to several Chipotle restaurants, this is probably not the most prime location for a restaurant. Working against this location are two major factors: 1) The lack of retail space. Chipotle could most likely fit into this restaurant area, but it would be a tight fit, and most likely lacks expansion opportunities. 2) The available space is on the inside of a building, and not on a corner. Every other Chipotle store that I have seen is either on a corner, or in its own building.

Whether this location is ideal or not, one must give Caribou some serious credit for their abundance of locations in the Roseville area. They took the polar opposite approach to Roseville colonization to Chipotle. Here’s a map of evidence.

They have 5 locations in Roseville!

Location #2: The old Har Mar Movie Theater (2100 N Snelling – Roseville, MN 55113)

Within the last month, the Har Mar movie theater was closed. I’m not sure what business will show up in its place, but I have an idea that I’m sure everyone will appreciate: the first ever Chipotle playland!!! At the risk of making an untimely McDonalds reference, I must say that I think that a gigantic Chipotle is a legitimate option for the Roseville area. (click images for high-res photos)

Location #3: The old Frank’s Nursery (read about the demise of Frank’s on Wikipedia) (1800 Hwy 36 – Roseville, MN 55113)

Somehow Frank’s Nursery and Crafts went out of business in Roseville. I’m 98% positive that they went out of business because my mom no longer lived within a 20 minute radius of the store. Others may contend differently, but I know the buying patterns of Fran Sauer, and I think my case speaks for itself.

Regardless of how Franks went out of business, there’s presently a void where the store once flourished. Actually, the location has been an empty storefront for at least a year. After doing a Google search about the building, I learned that it is presently being rezoned, and it will become retail space. Perhaps this will be enough space for a Chipotle!

Location #4: Next To Party City (2485 Fairview Ave N – Roseville, MN 55113)

This is a fairly large location, and it seems to have been vacant for at least a year or two. It is across the street from Rosedale mall, and would absolutely flourish as a Chipotle restaurant. There is also ample parking. This would be the perfect location for a Chipotle restaurant.

Location #5: Next to Quiznos (2325 Fairview Ave N – Roseville, MN 55113)

While taking pictures of the other Roseville locations, I stumbled across the most convenient location yet. Near the Quiznos in Roseville, there is a recently vacated corner building. It is ideal size for a Chipotle, and has a lot of parking. It is very close to a Starbucks, and very close to Archiver’s (a scrapbooking store, and from what my sister tells me, Scrapbookers love Chipotle!)

Conclusion

As you can see, I am passionate about bringing Chipotle to Roseville, Minnesota. For over two years I have waited for a restaurant to spring up, and to this point my hopes have only lead to disappointment. Now I am taking matters into my own hands, and trying to give you as much information as possible so that you can build a restaurant in my area.

I will also volunteer my personal time if you need someone to scout locations for you, or do any other research. I am not presently aware of your policies and standards regarding new restaurant developments, but if you could send me that information, I would be more than willing to learn them.

I am willing to do anything to bring a Chipotle restaurant to Roseville, Minnesota.

Let’s get this project started.

Sincerely,

Jeff,

Thank you for writing us, and we certainly appreciate your loyalty to our food and restaurants. That is not debatable. And while you are most definitely not the first person either inside or outside our company to consider frequency programs and the like, that of course doesn’t mean that we don’t listen to this suggestion or consider it anew every time it is suggested.

However (and I know, I said “however”), frequency programs are essentially a fancy term for Discounts. And discounting is an evil thing. Restaurants that do it ultimately end up raising their prices across the board or cheapening their food quality or both to afford these sorts of programs. And therefore, the Discount is not really a Discount, if that makes sense. In the restaurant business, as in any business, you get what you pay for, and we are no different.

Yet, we would prefer to avoid the deceptive ploy of providing non-discount discounts to our customers, and we would rather keep on providing the same great food all the time for what we feel is a fair price to everybody. Does that make sense? Additionally, frequency programs don’t build loyalty to our or to any restaurant, they just build loyalty to the discount, and as soon as another restaurant comes along with a better discount, away goes the frequency-card person.

A great example of the error of frequency programs are the airlines. You get rewarded with frequent flyer miles for what? Sitting in cramped seats jammed up next to each other in twenty thousand year old airplanes where the airlines can’t even afford to serve you real peanuts anymore…. And of course, not all of the problems that airlines face are based on frequent flyer miles, but still…. Another case would be grocery stores. While they discount some items to make it seem like they are offering deals, they raise prices on everything else to compensate.
But as for Roseville, I am sure we will get there someday, and we appreciate that suggestion too. Do you have any locations there where you think we would do well?

Those of you who read my Open Letter to Chipotle, may be wondering if I ever received a response to request to bring Chipotle to Roseville. The answer is yes. One of the things they asked me to do in their response was to scout locations for a potential Roseville location.

Until recently, I haven’t been holding up my end of the bargain. I did not even respond to their letter. I guess it was a combination of feeling slighted and laziness. Well, I recently skinny dipped in the motivation pool, and I am once again on a mission to bring Chipotle to Roseville.

For starters, I have registered a domain name (www.chipotleroseville.com) and I plan on putting up a website. Here is what I plan to put on the site. Please post comments if you have any more ideas!

Take pictures of possible locations

Give demographics of Roseville area

Show a map centered upon Roseville, and show how there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING near the city.

Write a story about my experience at Comcast one day (employees there were like “man, I really want Chipotle, but there’s nothing here. If someone brought Chipotle to Roseville, they would make a lot of money”). CHA CHING!

Get hot chicks to be Chipotle models for my website (whether I use the pics on the site is another story. Just being around hot chicks is good times!)

Keep on sending them the link until they finally give in.

Help me come up with some more ideas!

I wrote this in 6 minutes, so I apologize if it sucks.

where to start I don’t know
how about black and pinto?
so many options, but I go the same
chicken fajita is why I came

the sour cream is a dream
the cheese keeps me at ease
should I go bol or fajita?
I guess it all depends on the dia

I just used spanglish in that verse
but you wanna know what’s worse?
the other day I was feeling sorta down
then I went to the local chipolte in town

waiting in line, I started to feel great
just thinking about a past burrito that I ate
as I walked down the line my disposition improved
then they made a gesture, I was truly moved

it seems as if someone was smiling at me
they gave me an entire burrito, for free!
(well, free minus the guacamole)
I thought to myself could this truly be?
I had no cash, so I had to use my CC
On my bank statement, a $1.44 charge I see

I ask myself why they charge for the guac
but honestly, I am too excited to talk
when life gets you down, take it day to day
because you never know when a free burrito will come your way!

Dear Chipotle,
As a loyal fan of the Chipotle franchise, I have never questioned your business practices or recipes. I can clearly see that the Chipotle franchise is run by a group of perfectionists, who always strive to be the best. I would never tempt to interfere with perfection, so I have remained silent amid years of Chipotle loyalty. However, I am becoming more and more perturbed by a pressing issue that I feel has gone unresolved for too long. Given my history of loyalty to your franchise, I feel that I have earned my right to make a suggestion that will surely lead to increased satisfaction with your product. I am proposing that chipotle implement a Burrito Incentive Program (BIP) to reward the most loyal of customers.

I have often pondered why Chipotle did not award loyal customers for repeat visits. A stamp program works well for restaurants like Subway and Papa Murphy’s, so it only seemed natural to me that Chipotle would implement a similar program. I have been waiting for a Chipotle incentive program ever since my first visit to chipotle on October 13, 2000. It seems as if there is no reward for being an avid chipotle eater (other than the obvious nutritional and psychological effects that stem from burrito eating).

You may be reading this and thinking to yourself that I do not have the credibility necessary to suggest such an incentive program. However, I feel that I have sufficient credentials to make such a suggestion. According to my calculations, I have visited a Chipotle franchise an average of 1.65 times per week since my first visit in October of 2000. This is roughly 224 weeks that I have been a chipotle addict, with an estimated total of 370 burritos consumed. I have eaten chipotle in 4 different states (Minnesota, Nevada, Wisconsin, Arizona). I have ordered an entire Chipotle meal in Spanish. My chipotle affinity has endured two girlfriends. The longest that I have gone without chipotle during this time period was a mere 9 days (unfortunately, there were no Chipotle franchises in Africa). I was the first person I know to buy a t-shirt from chipotle. I have dressed up like a burrito for Halloween 2 times. I have kissed a woman on Valentines Day to get a free burrito. I have donated to the food shelf for a chipotle 3 times. I participated in the chipotle voting promotion in November of 2004. I have eaten my weight in Guacamole. I have faxed in orders that required two entire fax sheets. I have the phone number for my local Chipotle programmed into my cell phone. I have had entire bank statements where the only charge to my credit card was Chipotle (and the statement required two pages)!

Credentials aside, the real reason why I am writing to you is because I am passionate about Chipotle. In my years, I have seen very few ways to improve the way Chipotle is run; everything is done very well. In fact, in coming up with the concept of a BIP, I realized that perhaps the reason why Chipotle never developed such a program was that they did not want to recycle an old idea. I can see that much of the success of Chipotle stems from doing things in a revolutionary way. This forward thinking attitude lead me to come up with an entire revision to the way I perceive the implementation of the BIP.

Rather than passing out stamps or having a person keep a burrito punch card in their wallet, it occurred to me that the best way to approach the BIP would be to track this information in a cutting-edge way; online! The possibilities are just too great to pass up. (I am making several assumptions for this theory, so this may need to be adjusted in a few areas if these assumptions are not true.) Here is how I perceive the BIP to work:

For every purchase, a Chipotle customer is handed a receipt listing several key pieces of information (I believe there is a receipt number, transaction number, and other unique identifying numbers). I am assuming that one of the numbers on the receipt can reference the contents of the order that was placed.

A note would be added to the bottom of the receipt telling the customer to go to the Chipotle website and enter their receipt number.

The customer would go to the Chipotle website and sign up for a BIP account. The customer would be required to enter several pieces of information about themselves in order to sign up for this account. After they are signed up, they can enter their receipt number, and they will receive confirmation of their previous purchase.

All of this information would be stored in a centralized database, and customers will receive rewards based on certain “performance” levels.

For example; for every xx burritos this person enters, they will receive a free burrito certificate through the mail (where xx is a number you determine, probably between 8-20), for every yy burritos this person enters, they will receive a free piece of Chipotle merchandise (where yy is a number of burritos needed to get a t-shirt or other paraphernalia).

I believe that this would be a successful program for both the consumer and Chipotle as well. Here is my reasoning:

For every signup, you are receiving the personal information from your loyal customers. This allows you to create direct marketing for your customers without needing to solicit information. You can do massive US Mail and email campaigns to your most loyal of customers.

Incentives will certainly help a casual Chipotle consumer choose your restaurant over other restaurants.

People love free stuff.

The word of mouth surrounding the BIP will cause casual Chipotle consumers to crave Chipotle over other destinations.

People who fax in Chipotle orders often feel underappreciated. This is because there is quite a lot of work involved with synchronizing 10-15 Chipotle orders, and they are not rewarded for their hard work. With the BIP, all they would need to do is enter their receipt on the BIP website, and they would most likely receive a free burrito for their efforts.

Chipotle fans are some of the most passionate people in the world. When they talk about their success with the BIP, others will be more inclined to join the program.

This is a very easy way to run contests for chipotle customers at a centralized level.

Customers will leave Chipotle with a greater sense of satisfaction.

These explicit benefits, as well as several intangible benefits are certainly a strong enough reason for you to consider implementing a BIP. The BIP allows you to satisfy loyal customers, while still conforming to the Chipotle image. The use of cutting-edge technology to achieve this goal will certainly give Chipotle an edge over competitors.

I trust that as a company, Chipotle takes the requests of their customers very seriously. I am very serious about this proposal, and I would love to provide any feedback you may require in order to see to the successful implementation of the Burrito Incentive Program.

Thank you for your time,

Jeff Sauer

P.S. While I have the floor, I would like to express my concern that there is currently no Chipotle location in Roseville, MN. I have done extensive research, and I know that a franchise placed in this city would yield beaucoup profits. What needs to be done to have a franchise built in my area? I can get a list of signatures, sworn statements from credible sources, or whatever else it takes to get Chipotle in my town!

The Burrito Nazi (the guy who takes orders at chipotle) bears a striking resemblance to “Every Day Eddie” Guardado, closer for your very own MN Twins.

The aformentioned burrito man always screws up my burrito order… I say “Chicken Fajita” and he gives me steak with black beans. So I’m like “dude, I ordered chicken fajita” and he’s like “NO, steak!” and then I say “Listen here Pedro. If you don’t give me a chicken fajita burrito right now, I’m gonna shove a pinto bean so far up your urethra that you’re going to be peeing bloody baked beans for the next month and a half.” Finally, the Burrito Nazi caves in and makes me a Chicken Fajita. Victory me.

I could go to Chipotle for 2 meals a day for a month, and get something new every day. Like I said, I COULD, but I won’t, because I order the same thing EVERY TIME!

Sometimes I’ll just be sitting around, and all the sudden I’ll yell “BARBACOA” for no reason.

If Guacamole was used as currency, Mexico would be a world power. We would be a third world country. It’s weird thinking how things would have been. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. Lucky like a fox.

I wonder what would happen if I went into Chipotle and yelled “GOOOOOOAAAALLLL!!”

Free Burrito Count: Bill – 4. Jeff – 3. Damn Bill.

Number of times I’ve been asked to put my camera away within chipotle: 1

I will not date a girl if she does not like chipotle.

I’m very close to asking out a woman that works at chipotle. The perks are just too good!

Chipotle started in 1945 by Jimmy L. Chipotle in his backyard. He would cook burritos for vietnam war veterans and homeless women. He then struck it rich in the great stock market crash of 1984 and used the money he made to open up a chain of pet stores. During the poison ivy scare of 1931, Pet Sales dropped to an all time low. Being the Entrepreneur that he was, Jimmy decided to jump right into the mexican business. He decided to name his restaurant Chipotle in honor of his daughter’s new husband, Hector Chipotle. The rest is history.

If you were made out of burritos, would you eat yourself? I know I would!

Scott Weber, 180 pounds, can eat 2 chipotle burritos in one sitting. Jeff Sauer, 240 pounds, struggles finishing one burrito sometimes.

Chipotle has food, beer, women, bathrooms. If they had a bed in the backroom, I’d live there.
