The Long Walk

Tyler and I walked about 4-5 miles to go to a bar on Saturday night. You can read the details in Florida Diary - Day 10. Below are the pictures I took along the way while walking to what could have been our imminent deaths.

An intimate self-portrait of Tyler Petrich. Who's the guy on the cell phone behind him? Why is he giving the thumbs up sign?

This was actually taken before the previous picture. Tyler had the camera set to scene mode and this is how his self portrait turned out. I included the pic because I think it's a cool effect.

Another picture in scene mode. Can you see me in the background? I look transparent, yet present. It's a cool effect!

I don't want to incriminate Tyler for any actions that he may be doing in this photo. So, instead of saying what he was actually doing here, I am going to say that he was testing the structural fortitude of this building by spraying a high-pressure liquid, yellow to clear in color.

We walked past several huge and sweet houses along the way, but they were too far for the pictures to turn out. This was taken about 20 minutes into the walk.

I accidentally took this pic of my foot. A very cool accident it was.

We walked by a shop called Surf Style. We went in for about 2 seconds and then left.

Before we crossed the first causeway, we went through a strange part of town that had some awesome signage. My favorite part of this picture is the word "BAIT" written in all caps.

I'm following Tyler into the hair and nails place. It took me a while, but I was finally able to talk him out of a peticure.

No idea why I took this picture. Then again, I was freaking bored, so the mere act of picture taking entertained me enough.

I love how Tyler is posing in this picture like the tree is his prom date.

Me posing with a random baloon we found in a park along the way.

Over bridge #1, I took this picture near a mobil station. This is around 45 minutes to an hour into the walk.

A random pole at the mobil station. 873 bitches.

Crossing over one of the bridges.

A drawbridge.

Tyler claimed that he would jump off this large bridge for $1000. I told him he'd probably die.

The metal part of the drawbridge.

Last - Tyler the building instructor decides to test the durability of this wall with his yellow/clear liquid.

We have reached our destination, the Green Iguana. We are like Harold and Kumar going to White Castle, only we're alcoholics.
